A flag-raising ceremony marking the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China at Tian’anmen Square in Beijing on October 1st 2024.
China is celebrating its National Day (国庆节) between October 1st and 7th. The National Day celebrates the formal proclamation of the establishment of the People’s Republic of China on October 1st 1949. A week-long national holiday also occurs for the celebrations, which many people use to travel across the country and visit family.
During the celebrations, the various space companies and agencies of China shared posters online to join in celebrating. Some of the country’s media entities also shared aerospace-related posters too. Like with the Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节), almost all of these posters were solely shared on Chinese social media platforms, such as Weibo and WeChat/Weixin. Due to this, I’ve compiled them all here with links back to the original posts, or where they were found. (If you have found one that I didn’t include please do reach out).
